Coach and mentor clients’ project managers and assist with implementation of their PMO (Project Management Office). Deliver training on project management certification subjects, leadership skills and PM tools (NIKU Workbench, MS Project). Manage internal technology (LAN, telecomm, web site, etc) and help develop courseware.

Product Director / Instructor, November 2000 – October 2001 
Provant Project Management (formerly PMSI • Project Mentors) - Implementation services, training and technology 
Developed strategic plans for deployment of new technology products such as online PM maturity assessment tools, web-based PM reference tools and the Corporate web sites. Responsibilities included managing deployment schedules, procuring and managing subcontractors, and providing status reports to senior management and other stakeholders. Served as technology subject matter expert (SME) to various client and internal projects, as pre-sales technical lead for Products and internal training on tools such as MS Project Central and Primavera TeamPlay, and as instructor for external clients such as IBM’s program for project management certification.

Implementation Manager, May 2000 – November 2000
ExpoExchange, LLC - Internet-based Tradeshow management and e-commerce solution Implemented e-commerce solutions for the tradeshow industry. Responsible for complete project life cycle for development of concurrent show sites. Coordinated, assigned and tracked tasks that involved Development, Quality Assurance, Graphic Design and Systems. Assisted Marketplace Executives with pre-sales consulting and in optimizing sites and banner ad placements for effective marketing. Involved in several internal strategic projects including development of a project plan template for all future site development projects. Coached colleagues in use of Microsoft Project and in use of standard project management processes.

Director of Technology, November 1996 – May 2000
PMSI • Project Mentors - Implementation services, training and technology 
Managed IT staff at headquarters and two regional offices. Implemented and supported all internal technology including LAN/WAN, corporate web sites, and telecommunications with a budget of over $700,000. Responsible for company’s relocation to a new building including construction management, furniture installation and IT infrastructure design. Technical consultant and project manager on client projects involving data warehousing, start-up technology and Internet applications. Implementation consultant and course instructor on Microsoft Project (98, 2000) and Project Central, Primavera TeamPlay and ABT Project Workbench enterprise project management applications for clients such as IBM, the Weather Channel, Enron, BellSouth and Worldspan. 

Program Manager - CAD Technologies, July 1994 – November 1996
Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG), CAD Systems / Physical Planning   Managed specialized network supporting CAD and Geographic Information System (GIS) users. Responsible for administration, maintenance and user training on an AIX/PC/token ring network. Developed and delivered training for users of AutoCAD and other applications. Project manager on special projects such as the development and implementation of the Olympic Village Room-Allocation System, managing deliverables for Competition Course Logistics for the Torch Relay, marathon and mountain biking, and implementation of the Main Operations Center, where our team developed and operated a graphical Executive Information System using CAD (2D & 3D) and GIS data.

Data Manager / Project Manager, October 1988 – July 1994
Facility Relocations, Inc. - Facility project management consulting 
As a Project Manager, managed deliverables for office, warehouse and data center relocations for major national corporations. In role as Data Manager, initiated, implemented and maintained a 30-user network. Managed CAD department with duties involving document management, developing CAD standards and delivering CAD training to users. Became certified as an Advanced Specialist on the Archibus Facility Management application (integrated with AutoCAD) and was solely responsible for pre-sales consulting, implementation, configuration, training and technical support for clients.

Group Sales Manager / Data Manager, July 1986 – October 1988
Executive Tour Lines - Limousine/Motor Coach Services
Managed client accounts in the Hotel/Convention industry. Introduced computer-based sales databases and desktop publishing for marketing. Managed special projects with clients such as Delta Air Lines and the Atlanta Convention & Visitor’s Bureau. Served as a transportation coordinator on DeKalb County Task Force for a national political convention.
